Terms of service · Version 7 August 2026
A fair swap starts with clear rules.
These terms are the agreement between you and SBrusse SRL, the Belgian company behind Swapcard. Creating an account means you accept them and confirm that you are at least 18.

Who you are dealing with
Swapcard is the name of the service. The company behind it, and the one you are contracting with, is SBrusse SRL. Wherever these terms say “we” or “us”, they mean SBrusse SRL.
- SBrusse SRL, Rue Auguste Baccus 14/2, 1350 Folx-les-Caves, Belgium. That is the address for letters, notices, and complaints.
- Registered with the Belgian Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0644.917.861.
- VAT number BE 0644.917.861.
- Email support@swapcard.app. A real person reads it.
The service
Swapcard helps adults record and photograph physical cards, optionally publish a wanted list or join privacy-thresholded collection leaderboards, find reciprocal matches, communicate under aliases, and mutually reveal selected contact details. The audience is parents swapping their children’s cards: the account holder is the adult, the cards belong to the kids. We are not a party to a swap, do not hold cards or money, and do not guarantee condition, authenticity, delivery, or completion.
During the beta, matching runs in Belgium and setup asks for an assigned Belgian postcode.
Demo, price, and renewal
The payment-free demo starts once when onboarding is completed and lasts 15 days. It does not request a payment method or convert automatically. When it ends, your collection remains available read-only with export, deletion, unpublishing, and checkout controls.
Annual membership costs €10 per year, including applicable tax shown at checkout, and starts only after you explicitly confirm Stripe Checkout. It renews annually until cancelled. You can cancel in the billing portal at any time and retain access through the paid-through date. The €10 is the whole price: there is no setup fee, no per-swap fee, and no charge for the demo.
Your 14-day right to withdraw
You have 14 days to withdraw from the annual membership without giving a reason. The period starts on the day the contract is concluded, which is the day your payment is confirmed at checkout.
To withdraw, tell us clearly before those 14 days are over. An unambiguous statement is enough — an email to support@swapcard.app saying you withdraw does it, and so does a letter to the address above. You can use the model form below, but you do not have to. We confirm receipt, and we refund by the same means you paid within 14 days of being told, less the proportionate amount explained in the next section.
Model withdrawal form — copy it and complete it only if you want to withdraw:
- To SBrusse SRL, Rue Auguste Baccus 14/2, 1350 Folx-les-Caves, Belgium, support@swapcard.app:
- I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the Swapcard annual membership.
- Ordered on: …
- Name of consumer: …
- Address of consumer: …
- Signature of consumer (only if this form is sent on paper): …
- Date: …
Starting before the 14 days are up
A membership is only useful if it works the moment you pay for it, so Stripe Checkout asks you to tick a box before the payment goes through. Ticking it does two things, and we would rather you knew both in advance.
- You ask us to start supplying the membership immediately, inside the 14-day window, instead of waiting for it to run out.
- You acknowledge that once the membership year has been supplied in full, the right of withdrawal is gone. That is what the law attaches to asking for an early start.
Withdrawing before then still works. You pay only for the part of the year you actually had, in proportion to the time that has passed — on a €10 year, a fortnight is a matter of cents, and the rest comes back to you.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate account and inventory information and keep credentials secure.
- Offer only items you may lawfully exchange and describe their condition honestly.
- Do not scrape, spam, harass, impersonate, evade blocks, manipulate matches, or share another person’s contact details.
- Do not manipulate leaderboards, upload photos you are not entitled to use, or publish personal information in card imagery.
- Use safe public meeting locations or tracked shipping and never send payment because another collector pressures you.
Content and catalogs
You keep rights in messages, card photos, and other content you submit and grant us the limited permission needed to sanitize, store, transmit, moderate, and display it according to your visibility choices. A public wanted URL can be copied by its viewers even though we mark it unlisted and ask search engines not to index it. Catalog names may identify compatible collections; third-party marks and card artwork belong to their respective owners.
Safety and moderation
We may investigate reports, restrict features, preserve evidence, suspend accounts, or remove content to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these terms. Report urgent danger to local emergency services. Platform reporting is not an emergency channel.
Service availability
We maintain and improve the service to provide reliable access. Planned maintenance, security work, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally interrupt access. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services.
Ending use
You may cancel annual renewal, unpublish optional features, download a self-service account-data copy, or delete your account in Settings. Account deletion also cancels an attached active Stripe subscription before account data is removed. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches. Provisions that logically survive termination, including safety, intellectual property, billing, disputes, and lawful record retention, remain effective.
If we disagree
Write to support@swapcard.app first — most things are a misunderstanding and we would rather fix them than argue about them. If that does not settle it, you can take the dispute to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur · Consumentenombudsdienst), Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels, consumerombudsman.be. Their mediation is free, and using it does not take away your right to go to court.
Law and contact
Belgian law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Belgian courts have jurisdiction where the law permits. Questions can be sent to support@swapcard.app, or posted to SBrusse SRL, Rue Auguste Baccus 14/2, 1350 Folx-les-Caves, Belgium.
